What we do have is where it sits in the wider Test Valley area, and even that's thin: on median house price, Test Valley's own benchmark runs to £345,000, close to the regional South East figure of £367,500 and well above the national median of £281,000. That alone tells you this is a part of the country where property costs more than most of England, without telling you whether Lower Eldon itself is the pricier end of that district or the more affordable corner of it. Beyond that, I'd be guessing, and that's not something I'm willing to do with a decision this size. I'd suggest treating this one as a place to visit and ask around locally before committing — the numbers that usually settle the question (schools, commute links, crime, the actual feel of the streets) simply aren't here yet.
